Jasmine
Jasminum beesianum
Divine, carmine-red, velvety blooms which are produced above glossy, mid-green leaves between June and July. This is an attractive, scrambling evergreen climber that’s perfect for training up a sheltered, sunny wall, fence, trellis or archway in a well-drained, fertile soil. The fabulously fragrant flowers are followed by rich black berries that last well into the winter. It doesn’t grow as large as most other jasmines, meaning its size is easier to control and making it suitable for growing in a container
