Coral Bells Sweet Tea
Heucherella Sweet Tea

Superb for growing in a container or using as an impact plant at the front of a border, this Heuchera has large, deeply-lobed, burnt orange leaves which are pale during the autumn then deepen beautifully during the summer. These have rich purple-red central blotches and veining and are resistant to pests and diseases, including slugs and snails. Thriving in semi-shade, 'Sweet Tea' also makes an excellent ground cover plant, boasting attractive white flowers which provide an additional source of attraction during the summer months.

Position: Prefers partial shade

Soil: A moist, fertile, well-drained soil

Rate of Growth: Average

Flowering Period: June to August

Flower Colour: White

Other Features: Look great in pots on the patio and garden path edges.

Hardiness: Fully hardy: stands a temperature down to -15°C

Garden Care: Incorporate lots of well-rotted organic matter into the backfill when planting. Apply generous well rotted organic mulch in early spring and keep well-watered during periods of dry weather.

Please Note: Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly

Eventual Height:  15cm
Eventual Spread:  30cm
