Goldheart Ivy
Hedera helix Goldheart
A wonderful, evergreen climber that has lustrous, glossy dark green leaves with impressive, bright golden-yellow centres and tapering edges. In the autumn it bears clusters of small, yellowish-green flowers followed by attractive, spherical black fruit. It’s a densely-leaved variety that’s suitable for growing through trees with pinkish new shoots that mature to reddish-brown with age. Perfect for brightening up a dull, sheltered, partially shaded spot of the garden next to a wall or fence where the bright yellow splash on the deep green leaves gives the illusion of sunlight. Any foliage that reverts to plain green should be removed immediately
