Shrubby Veronica
Hebe salicifolia Alba
This is a medium-sized, evergreen shrub which produces narrow spikes of white flowers from June to August. These are borne above bright green, lanceolate leaves which are long and thin and form a dense mass reaching 4.5m high and 3m wide. It can be grown in nutritionally poor soil, providing it is well-drained, but does require some protection from cold winter frosts.
