Shrubby Veronica
Hebe rakaiensis
A dwarf, evergreen shrub which bears masses of large, white flower spikes in June and July. These are produced above a dense mass of small, elongated, bright green leaves that are glossy on the upper surface. It has a compact, dome-shaped growth habit, making it suitable for using as a low, informal flowering hedge. It can also be container grown or situated at the front of a sunny border where it will attract wildlife such as bees and butterflies.
