Shrubby Veronica
Hebe odora (buxifolia)
This is a wonderful evergreen hebe, whose foliage has been likened to the well known buxus shrub that is often used for topiary. It has an upright, rounded growth habit with narrow, glossy green, spear-shaped leaves on yellow stems and branches. In early summer it produces a flourish of white flowers which smother the plant, making it ideal for use as a slow- and low-growing, flowering hedge.
