Shrubby Veronica
Hebe Youngii (Carl Teschner)
This is a spreading, evergreen variety with small, glossy mid-green leaves on brown stems. It is a low-growing and compact shrub, reaching 20cm high and more than 60cm across, making it ideal for use as ground cover. The foliage has a thin, red edge which is set off by the dark stems and violet flowers which fade to white are produced between June and July.
