Shrubby Veronica
Hebe Sapphire
This is an upright, evergreen shrub with attractive, mid-green foliage which is red flushed and has reddish midribs. The leaves are spear-shaped and have a distinct reddish tinge during winter and spring; the whole plant appearing almost purple in winter. It produces dainty spikes of small, rosy purple flowers between July and August and makes a great, colourful shrub to include in a border surrounded by other plants for some protection.
