Hebe Purple Queen (Amy)
This is an evergreen shrub which bears rich violet flowers which are produced on long spikes in summer and autumn. It has an upright growth habit with dark purple stems and deep, shiny green leaves that are flushed with purple. It is not fully hardy so requires protection from frosts and cold winds. Grows best near the coast or in a protected, frost-free garden.
