Hebe Mrs Winder
This is an evergreen variety which forms a mound of dark foliage up to 1m high. It is a robust hardy Hebe cultivar which has been in UK gardens for a long time, although its origins are unknown. It has shiny, green leaves with reddish-purple edges that take on a bronze cast in cold weather. It is a compact variety with rarely seen, mauve autumn flowers.
