Hebe Midsummers Beauty
This is an excellent evergreen shrub with a bushy, dense growth habit. It is frost hardy and has long, narrow bright green leaves which are glossy reddish-purple beneath. Long spikes of small, 4-lobed, lilac flowers that fade to white are borne from mid-summer to late autumn giving this plant year round interest. Can be grown in most fertile, well drained soils and prefers a position in full sun. Ideal for planting at the front of a shrub border where plenty of light is available. Potential height and spread is approx. 1 metre by 1.2 metres.
