Variegated Manna Grass
Glycera Maxima Variegata
An ornamental, grassy marginal with green leaves boldly variegated with yellow and white stripes, pink tinged when young. Perfect for growing beside a lake or large pond to stabilise its banks, it’s quick to become established and spreads rapidly in up to 15cm of water. It is a striking, wide-spreading plant suitable for growing in partial shade or a bog garden and whose clumps can be lifted and divided as required in spring. Unless Glyceria is used to stabilise the bank of a lake or large pond, it should always be grown in a container (which can be submerged into the ground) to restrict its sideways spread
