Cranesbill
Geranium Johnson's Blue
Large, attractively-veined, saucer-shaped, rich sky-blue flowers with a subtle flush of pink in the centre are produced in loose clusters above elegant, deeply-divided, mid-green leaves from May to August. It has a slightly sprawling, informal appearance and forms a vigorous, robust clump of foliage that looks stunning when weaved in and out of the front of a mixed border. Perfect for growing as a small specimen plant in a container or incorporating into an informal planting, it looks stunning when allowed to form a carpet over the ground and grows successfully under coniferous trees once established. A cottage garden favourite that’s useful for attracting bees and butterflies to the garden

Cut back faded flowers in early summer to ensure a second flush of blooms are produced. Congested colonies can be lifted and divided in late autumn or early spring if required. Please Note: Although all our perennials are advertised as being sold in 1 litre containers, they are sometimes stocked in 9cm pots instead (particularly during the winter). If you order perennials from us, we reserve the right to supply them in 9cm pots instead of 1 litre containers, at a price of £2.80 instead of £3.80. Between November and March many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means they are sold as a root, corm or bulb with no top growth. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in the spring.
