Forsythia
Forsythia x intermedia Lynwood
This is an upright, spreading deciduous shrub with large, rich yellow blooms that are produced up the entire length of the stems between March and April. These flowers smother the bare branches before the leaves start to appear. ‘Lynwood’ is a reliable variety with vibrant flowers that help to add colour and interest to the garden when few other plants are flowering. Its fast growth rate and dense habit also makes it an ideal choice for a tough, flowering hedge. As it can be pruned to any desired size it’s suitable for both small and large gardens.
