Evergreen Bittersweet
Euonymus japonicus Albomarginatus
This is a brilliant, evergreen shrub with medium sized pale green leaves which are attractively edged creamy-white. It has a dense growth habit and is perfect for providing year-round colour and interest to the garden. Small, green flowers are produced in May and June and are followed by spherical, white fruits. It is fully hardy and easy to care for, with little or no regular pruning required.

Garden Care:
To encourage bushy growth, young plants should be tip pruned in mid- to late spring. Apply a mulch of well-rotted garden compost or organic matter around the base of the plant at the same time. Any branches of plain green leaves should be cut back to the base of the plant as soon as they appear.
