Evergreen Bittersweet
Euonymus fortunei Emerald Gaiety
This is a compact, evergreen shrub which bears clusters of tiny, green flowers above bright green, variegated leaves in May and June. The glossy foliage has white margins and looks particularly attractive in winter when it becomes pink-tinged. It is a bushy variety which is ideal for a well-drained border where some protection from cold, drying winds is available.
