Dwarf Tree Form
Elaeagnus Gilt Edge
This is a versatile, evergreen shrub which produces fragrant, creamy-white flowers in October. It is normally grown for its glossy, dark green foliage which is attractively edged with golden yellow. It can be grown as an informal hedge or as part of a large shrub border. The variegation, which is strongest when grown in full sun, is perfect for adding a splash of colour to your garden in the winter. Will tolerate dry soil and salt-laden coastal winds.
