Cytisus Boskoop Ruby
This is a pretty shrub which produces an abundance of ruby-red, pea-like flowers which clothe the arching stems throughout late spring and early summer. It is a compact, deciduous variety with tiny leaves which are produced on whippy stems. Ideal for smaller gardens, it will flourish in poor starved soil providing full sun exposure is available.
