Cupressocyparis Leylandii Gold
This popular variety is a vigorous grower with a columnar growth habit, tapering at the apex. Its fast growth rate of up to 90cm per year makes it ideal for using as a screen or to provide fast-growing hedging. Golden foliage is held in flat sprays making the plant easy to trim back if necessary. Its height and spread can be controlled to any desired size with regular trimming but continuous care and attention is required, because if neglected it will quickly grow out of control. It can also be grown as a tall, specimen tree in large gardens.
