Cryptomeria
Cryptomeria Little Champion Lollipop
This is a compact, semi-dwarf, dome-shaped evergreen conifer which has been top-grafted onto a rootstock to make an attractive lollipop that won’t grow any taller than its current height. It is a handsome, ornamental variety with soft, non-prickly, rich green, needle-type foliage that retains its exceptional colour all year round and takes on a fabulous reddish-purple cast during the winter. The head will grow to around 80cm by 80cm but can be trimmed to any size for use in the rockery or as a feature to add architectural flare to the border. It’s also perfect for adding something a bit different to heather and rock gardens, or for using in a container on the patio.
