White Pampas Grass
Cortaderia Selloana
Majestic, pendulous, fluffy plumes of creamy white that are bathed in subtle bronze highlights from August to September. These flamboyant, ornamental flowers are produced on arching stems and help to serve as a focal point in a mixed border. It forms a dense mass of long and narrow, evergreen, weeping olive-green stems that are ideal for adding architectural flare to the garden. Perfect for growing alongside a pond in a sunny spot of the garden, we recommend protecting the crown of the plant with a deep, dry mulch in winter and removing any dead and damaged stems each year between February and March.
