Red-barked Dogwood
Cornus alba Spaethii
This is an outstanding Dogwood which produces small yet very attractive, creamy white flowers in flat heads from May to June. It is grown for its brilliant red winter shoots and magnificent, pale green leaves that are attractively edged with broad, irregular yellow margins. Plant 60cm apart to form an excellent, informal hedge or use ‘en masse’ in groups. Suitable for wet soils
