Dogwood
Cornus Midwinter Fire
This is an excellent new variety of dogwood which bears clusters of white flowers which are borne above mid-green leaves in June. It is perfect for providing a bold splash of colour to a garden in the winter, when the foliage turns orange-yellow before falling to reveal beautiful, red-tipped, orange-yellow winter stems. The flowers are followed by spherical blue-black fruit which help to provide interest throughout the summer months. Grows particularly well near water and can be combined with other coloured-stemmed varieties of dogwood.
