Clematis montana Elizabeth
A fast growing, dense climber often referred to as the “mile a minute clematis”, this is a fast growing, dense climber. It produces a mass of flowers in late April/May with dense attractive foliage until late autumn. Can be used as a specimen climbing plant to great effect or as a screening plant to cover a fence or railings. Alternatively, it can be grown up a tree but must be pruned every year to keep it under control. Height may exceed 8 metres if not pruned.
