This Clematis bears beautiful mauve- blue flowers from July to September, it is compact and free flowering, a lovely, light blue Clematis from the healthy viticella group.

If you decided to grow this variety through a shrub or tree ensure it is pruned back each spring so it doesn't become a burden on the supporting plant
Hardiness:
Fully hardy: stands a temperature down to -15°C
Garden Care:
Apply a generous mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant and use a slow-release fertiliser such as Osmocote in early spring. Cut back all growth to a strong bud in spring immediately after the plant has flowered, removing any dead and damaged stems.
