Californian Lilac
Ceanothus Puget Blue
A lovely, evergreen shrub with small, dark green leaves and stunning, deep blue flowers which smother the plant between April and June. These are borne in compact, rounded clusters and look particularly striking when planted alongside a dark red flowering plant such as a Chocolate Vine. It has a spreading growth habit and is reasonably robust, however, it is not one of the hardiest ceanothuses available and will only thrive in a sheltered site.
