Scots Heather
Calluna Vulgaris Amethyst
This is a bud-bloomer with dark green foliage and purplish crimson buds which appear between August and January. The buds are bluer than those of ‘Alexandra’ and last considerably longer. It has an upright, bushy growth habit and was introduced by Kurt Kramer as a result of his breeding work.
