Box
Buxus Faulkner Lollipop
This is an exceptional, low maintenance, slow growing evergreen shrub with tightly packed, oval-shaped, bright emerald green leaves that are shiny all year round and take on a bronze cast over the winter. It has a very dense growth habit, even denser than common box (Buxus Sempervirens), making it perfect for using as a formal, trimmed hedge or for shaping into various different forms as a topiary specimen. It’s great for growing in a container on balconies or in courtyards and looks stunning when used to edge driveways, paths or the perimeter of a small, formal front garden. Its slow growth rate also means that any pruning that’s required is minimal and shearing to shape once annually is usually perfectly adequate.
