Butterfly Bush (Buddleja)
Buddleja globosa
An eye catching shrub which bears large spherical heavily scented flowers of deep yellow throughout late spring and early summer. It has semi-evergreen dark green ovate textured foliage throughout summer and autumn and grows best in a sunny position where the ground is well drained. The flowers appear on the previous season’s wood, so the plant can be pruned after flowering.
