Butterfly Bush (Buddleia)
Buddleja Globosa
This is an open, semi-evergreen shrub which bears dense clusters of rounded, fragrant orange-yellow flowers throughout late spring and early summer. It has dark green foliage which is toothed at the margins and yellowish on the underside. Grows best in a sunny position where the ground is well drained. The flowers appear on the previous season’s wood, so the plant can be pruned after flowering.
