Michaelmas Daisy
Aster Pink Beauty
Beautiful, soft pink flowers with narrow, needle-like petals which radiate from stunning, golden-yellow crowns attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. This is an easy-to-grow, spreading perennial which forms a dense mound of hairy, grey-green leaves that provide a fantastic backdrop to the flowers. Between August and October the plant is completely clothed in blooms, producing a blanket of colour that’s ideal for adding interest to the autumn garden. Perfect for planting in the herbaceous border or rock garden, it makes excellent cut flowers and will sometimes produce a second flush of colour if faded flower heads are pinched out. It’s tolerant of light shade although staking may be necessary.

Incorporate lots of well-rotted organic matter into the backfill when planting. Apply generous well rotted organic mulch in early spring and keep well-watered during periods of dry weather. Please Note: Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 2 litre and adjust the price accordingly.
