Michaelmas Daisy
Aster Alice Haslam
Masses of large, deep rose pink flowers with striking, golden-yellow centres clothe the whole plant in a striking display of colour between August and September. This is an easy-to-grow, spreading perennial with a basal rosette of hairy, grey-green leaves. The flowers have extremely narrow, needle-like petals which radiate from the central crown attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. It is an excellent hybrid aster whose dwarf nature makes it perfect for incorporating into an herbaceous bed, rock garden or sunny border.

Incorporate lots of well-rotted organic matter into the backfill when planting. Apply generous well rotted organic mulch in early spring and keep well-watered during periods of dry weather. Please Note: Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 2 litre and adjust the price accordingly.
