Monkey Puzzle Tree
Araucaria Imbricata
This statuesque, evergreen conifer is suitable for large garden only. Individual trees are oval with narrowed, pointed ends. Cylindrical or rounded cones which measure up to 15cm are borne on upper branches with male and female cones usually being borne on different trees. The straight and strongly rigid trunk is greyish brown. Grows best in full sun where a well drained, fertile soil is available.

Garden Care:
Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system.
