Rock Cress Bloom
Arabis procurrens Variegata
This is a versatile, ground-covering, evergreen perennial which bears masses of beautiful, pure white flowers held in clusters high above the foliage. It’s grown for its stunning, small mid-green leaves which are splashed creamy-white in the centre and have attractive, bold creamy-white margins. The foliage also takes on a wonderful purplish to maroon cast during the winter which helps to give it year-round appeal. It’s tolerance of a wide range of soil types makes it suitable for difficult areas of the garden where other plants will not grow: rockeries, borders, alpine troughs, gravel gardens and containers are just a few situations in which it will thrive. It makes a stunning groundcover plant when grown in front of a dark-coloured backdrop and is capable of lighting up even the dullest areas of the garden. Easy to grow and tolerant of harsh conditions

Garden Care:
Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly.
