Rock Cress Bloom
Arabis caucasica Snowcap
An attractive, easy-to-grow evergreen perennial which forms a low-growing mat of jagged, hairy grey-green leaves. It produces masses of stunning, sweetly-scented, pure white flowers in loose clusters between March and May, followed by long, narrow fruits. Ideal for using as an edging plant or growing around the base of shrubs and hedges, it requires good drainage and will thrive in sun or shade. It can be used to clothe a bank and looks excellent when set off against a backdrop of large rocks, making it a great choice for the rock garden. We recommend cutting back after flowering to keep the plant in check.

Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly.
