Dragonfly Mix Columbine
Aquilegia Dragonfly
Masses of large, vibrant flowers in shades of blue, yellow, white, pink and red with yellow centres and long, star-shaped spurs that project out behind the blossoms. This is a strong-stemmed, clump-forming perennial with handsome, finely-divided blue-green foliage which is perfect for an informal or cottage garden environment. It is self-sowing and benefits from a generous mulch around the base of the plant in autumn to protect the roots over the winter. A beautiful, upright variety which looks excellent in a light woodland setting or herbaceous border.

Remove flowering stems after the flowers have faded. Please note: Many perennials go ‘dormant’ which, in some cases, means that there is little or no top growth apparent between November and March. If you order perennials whilst they are dormant, they may not be visible above the soil level when purchased but will burst into life in spring. In the dormant period, we may not have stocks of all varieties in all pot sizes and therefore reserve the right to supply 9cm pots instead of 1 or 2 litre plants and adjust the price down accordingly.
