Amelanchier Canadensis
This is a showy shrub/small tree that bears masses of wide white flowers throughout spring. It is a deciduous variety with leaves opening coppery-red, turning to soft green in summer and then to shades of red, orange and yellow in autumn. Large blackish purple berries which are sweet and juicy. Disease resistance is very good. Ideal dessert fruit which also make excellent wines and jelly. A reliable, heavy cropper.
