Horse Chestnut
Aesculus Hippocastanum
A semi mature Horse Chestnut (conker) tree that needs little introduction. Large pointed leaves, long upright white flower pyramids followed by bright green, often with spiky outer fruits casings, containing bright light to dark brown shiny fruits.

Garden Care:
Your Aesculus Hippocastanum is supplied root-balled, take good care in handling, do not drop or shake off soil. Dig the hold deep enough to plant apx 100mm deeper than the plant has been grown in the nursery. Place in the hole carefully, undo or cut root wrap and tuck it into the bottom of the hole. Gently backfill the hole and firm the soil around the outer part of the root-ball well. Add two Osmacote tablets on planting and water well during at lease the first year of establishment.
