Japanese Maple
Acer palmatum Beni Ubi Gohon
A beautiful upright shrub or small tree. Spring foliage opens bronzy red turning through shrimp pink to deep purple red holding bronzy tones often along the leaf veins. In autumn leaves turn to fiery reds and yellows. A superb specimen for adding structure to a border, on the edge of a patio or as an architectural plant in a pot or planter.
