Korean Fir
Abies Koreana
This is a low, wide spreading, hardy conifer which has a pyramidal form and is densely clothed with dark shiny needles that are bright silver underneath. From an early age it produces upright, deep purplish blue, cylindrical cones with green inverted seed bracts in mid-autumn. Rows of pink and green upright female flowers are also borne in late spring.

Garden Care:
Your Abies Koreana is supplied root-balled, take good care in handling, do not drop or shake off soil. Dig the hold deep enough to plant apx 100mm deeper than the plant has been grown in the nursery. Place in the hole carefully, undo or cut root wrap and tuck it into the bottom of the hole. Gently backfill the hole and firm the soil around the outer part of the root-ball well. Add two Osmacote tablets on planting and water well during at lease the first year of establishment.
