To give you an idea of what it might be like to buy a
plant from us, we've put together a buying process which gives details of what will
happen when you buy from us, and the time scale between placing an order and having
it delivered.
Step 1: Finding your way around our site
We offer a massive selection of plants and garden items, so there's plenty
to choose from. To make things easier for you, there are several different ways
of finding what you're looking for. The best place to start is our search box which
can be found at the top right of every page. If you're not looking for anything
in particular you can browse our range of plants by category, or search for some
inspiration in our
"what plant where"
page. For
the latest additions and special promotions, bookmark the 'What's in Store' page
that's constantly updated with our latest offers.

Step 2: Deciding what to buy
You can locate a plant using our search facility by entering either its
common name or Latin name - it doesn't even matter if you don't know the whole name;
just enter the bit you know and see what happens! Our
"what plant where"
pages are a great place to find some inspiration if you're short of ideas. Our experts
have also put together a
good combinations
page with great ideas for all types of garden. You can even have us do the job for
you, by contacting our design team to
design your garden
for you. Even if you haven't got a clue what you're looking for, don't panic! You're

Step 3: Placing an order
Once you've decided what you'd like to buy, ordering couldn't be easier.
Simply click on the "Add to Cart" button next to the item you'd like to purchase.
You can find the "Add to Cart" button at the bottom of the page, where the different
available sizes of the plant are listed. This will create your own private shopping
cart that you can either proceed with to the checkout to complete the purchase,
or return to the plant search page to make further slections. If you decide you’d like
to change your mind about a certain item, you can easily delete it from your shopping
cart by simply viewing your shopping cart and clicking on the delete button next
to the item you no longer want. When you’ve added everything you’d like to buy to
your shopping cart, you’re ready to proceed to the checkout. At this point the delivery
charge for your order will be automatically calculated and added to your order.
Once you've placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from us detailing
exactly what you’ve bought, how much it has cost and where it will be delivered.

Step 4: Speedy Dispatch
When we receive your order, a series of events start to take place. After
receiving your order we make a stock check to make sure we've got all
of the plants that you've ordered. If needed, new stocks are ordered in from our
preferred suppliers spread across the whole of Europe on a weekly basis. If we can't
get hold of the plant you've ordered, we'll let you know as soon as possible and
recommend possible alternatives. If the plants you've ordered are held in stock,
delivery can usually be arranged within a week, otherwise we aim to deliver within
3 weeks of receiving your order. At Jackson's, we take great pride in caring for
your plants right upto the time when they are dispatched. Every plant we sell passes
through a rigorous checking system and is well watered and fed before the journey.
Step 5: Special Aftercare
At Jackson's, our interest in your plants goes well beyond the time when you
receive them. We have a great aftercare team who are obsessed with ensuring your
precious plants thrive in their new home. As well as having a polite and friendly
customer services department, we also have an expert advice team who are happy to
